About Peak Vinyl Club
Peak Vinyl Club is a 501(c)(7) social club in Colorado — members-only, focused on vinyl records, vintage and high-fidelity audio, and listening culture.
Mission
We’re organized for pleasure, recreation, and fellowship under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our purpose is to operate a membership-based social club centered on vinyl and vintage audio. We run listening sessions, equipment swap meets, album-of-the-month discussions, and social events — all to promote personal contact and commingling among members. We don’t discriminate on the basis of race, color, or religion.
Where we’re headed
Right now we’re building the membership and running events at partner venues. The goal is our own clubhouse — a real third place where members can listen, swap, and gather. In Colorado, a 501(c)(7) can hold a club liquor license and serve members without a standard commercial liquor license. That’s the long game.
Legal
Peak Vinyl Club is a Colorado nonprofit corporation. We have voting members, a board of directors, and bylaws. Our formation documents are on file with the Colorado Secretary of State. We are applying for federal 501(c)(7) tax exemption (Form 1024).
